Social Justice, Equity, and Inclusion Statement

Social Justice, Equity, and Inclusion is an area of continual improvement that I am passionate about embedding in my work as a student affairs practitioner and scholar. Every program and service provides an opportunity for me to evaluate the accessibility and equitability for all students. This is a responsibility that I take seriously and is reinforced by my personal and professional values. As a professional, I will continue to embed and infuse social justice in my daily work, conversations with colleagues and students, and programs that I create. This infusion will ensure that social justice, inclusion, and equity is an ongoing process that never ceases in my work as a practitioner and scholar. I will strive to ensure that every student that I interact with feels valued and confident in their identity to explore their identity and passions. By fulfilling this mission, I will work towards creating a culture of justice and equity in my community.
